I'm finding that if you insert objects that are close to the width and length of the bag dimensions, it's easy to get "stuck" putting these objects in. The other item is the roll top of the Mission Workshop design over the traditional Timbuk2 messenger bag style.

Something which I think if often over looked for messenger bags. While the materials appear tougher than the Timbuk2 they are also harder to fold and make the bag heavier. Just recently I finally bought a Mission Workshop Rummy, after lusting after this bag for a long time. I like this pack for general use, but for commute to the office I'll use my backpack (old SpireUSA) which holds books and papers better. I'm a long time user of a Timbuk2 bag, generic custom bag in medium size from about 2007.
